UK - HK (China) Symposium -
Inorganic Chemistry for Life
New Inorganic Materials for a Better Life
3 - 5 November 2023 (Fri - Sun)
Welcome to Our Site
Inorganic chemistry has played a crucial role in modern life. Various inorganic materials have been developed for catalysis and energy, carbon neutrality, imaging and light-emitting materials (e.g. OLED), diagnostic probes and pharmaceuticals.
Nevertheless, we still face challenges for new inorganic materials for society. New theories are also needed to support the design and synthesis of new materials. The goal of this symposium is to gather top minds from HK(China) and UK to share new ideas and latest development as well as to maintain strong scientific ties between UK and Hong Kong. We hope the symposium will inspire new ideas, promote research collaborations among the participants, and pave the way for the exploration of new STEM domains in the global research competition in inorganic chemistry for a better life.
